So tired

Really tired. I feel like I haven't slept really well in weeks. I can't wait for this vacation.

You know what's awesome about this cruise, as opposed to the first one we took? It leaves from here. We can sleep in, take the subway to the dock, and roll right on aboard. Since one of the things I didn't enjoy on the last vacation was the sleep issues (our plane got in extremely late, plus the jet lag, plus the time difference as the boat crossed time zones, plus the never-ending daylight), I'm really looking forward to a cruise that hopefully doesn't involve jet lag and insomnia.

It's something in the air, I think. I haven't had a night where I felt like I slept in about a week. Either I'm literally waking up or else I'm only recognizing that I was ever asleep when the alarm wakes me up. I've spent a few nights feeling conscious but eyes closed. Grah. Good luck with the vacation. Get some shut eye!
