It's quiet...

...in the early morning on days when my boss is flying in. I like it.

Didn't get a whole lot done this weekend, I'm afraid. But we did go to a lovely Halloween party at trinityvixen and feiran's place. Chuckro wore his Ren Faire costume I'd made him, and I wore the flapper costume from the play a few weeks back. Unfortunately, the costume was a little too small to begin with, so I had some seam splitting issues. But the damn thing stayed on for the night, at least. The most impressive costumes had to be Dr. Zoidberg from Futurama (a lot of red body paint and a stuffed pair of gloves tied under BSD's nose for tentacles) and Morrigan (gorgeous imitation woad, an ethereal dress, and a lot of tiny ravens and skeletons). There was also a fairly inept game of Mafia - it was a little too loud and people were a little too drunk, and so there was no strategy at all. We just randomly killed townspeople until the Mafia had picked us all off.

Quite a lot of fun.

And man, I wish my boss were out. She comes in and barely returns my "Good Morning," before she's telling "Go do this" (which I'd already done) and "Your bench is disgusting" (which it is not really, or at least not so badly so that it deserves the remark).
