A short post
Haven't had a chance to post recently.
We went to the Ren Faire in PA this weekend. It was nice. I have made Chuck a hat, which is nifty.
My great-grandfather fell today, and broke his shoulder and his hip. Fortunately, we have a high concentration of nurses, EMTs, and hospital administrators among his offspring and grand-offspring, and he's been airlifted to an excellent major hospital. I'm told he's in good spirits. Still...he's almost 100. We were going to have a surprise 100th birthday party for him in a couple weeks. And this isn't the kind of injury very old people bounce back from well. And that is scary.
And so we get into that helpless waiting...
