Margaritas with coworkers

My boss took the team out for dinner last night. She's leaving in a couple months, and working remotely a lot between now and then, so I think she's trying to do some team building stuff right now. Anyway, we went to this surprisingly good Mexican place - really amazing nachos and quesidillas, and I don't even like quesidillas as a rule. And margaritas. By the pitcher. With really huge glasses and helpful waiters who kept refilling said glasses every time you looked away. Hoo boy. Drunk with the coworkers. Didn't say anything stupid, and don't have a hangover, but I'm pretty sure I had more margaritas than I had sleep the night before. I was really pretty funny when I walked into the role playing group when I got home. And I had a drinking problem. As in, I tried to take a sip of water (this is at home, well away from the coworkers) and ended with a lot of it in my lap.

Well, that was interesting.

I thought your sterotypical "everything is hilarous!" drunkness was highly amusing.

*snort* You were so wasted.

And I should point out that you tried to drink water and missed three consecutive times.

I've never met someone who actually had the Airplane!-esque drinking problem. That sounds awesome.

I will point out that I had none of these problems in the restaurant. The tequila really caught up with me on the train.

At least you found your way home.

Hey, there was no trouble walking, navigating, or anything like that. I just got home, sat down, and it hit me.

You were definitely hit before you sat down. I think it was a compbination of focus, adrenaline, and not needing to deal with any fine details that got you home.
