Dear work

Thank you for the fever. It was just what I wanted for Christmas.

Are you at work at 7:43? This has to stop. If there is consistently this much work to be done, they need another employee. You need to have a calm but firm conversation with your boss about the hours you're putting in without compensation.

She's home sick today.

And we had that conversation last night--I basically said the same thing.

I knew you'd give her the same good advice. Lend her some of your chutzpah.

No, as Chuckro said, this was written from home after I called my boss to tell her I wasn't coming in today. I went home early yesterday and decided to take today off, too.

Awww I'm sorry to hear you're sick. =\ I don't know the full story but it sounds like Chuck and your mom are giving you good advice.

Hope you feel better, but not before they're forced to hire a temp to handle your insane workload.

Well, I sure hope the fever's gone by Christmas. Feel better!

Hope you feel better! (Especially by the weekend!)

Some time off is desperately needed, it seems. Too bad you're too sick to like it. Down some tylenol, take up bed rest and lots of water and just enjoy being able to stop running around like crazy.
