Eating donuts on a park bench with your sweetie is an excellent use of a Saturday afternoon.

I wish it was the planned activity for this afternoon as well. Sigh.

I wish I'd been eating donuts on a park bench with my sweetie on Saturday. We'd planned to go to the arboretum on Saturday, but my paper deadline this coming Friday seemed a little too desperate, so I went to work and got Absolutely Nothing accomplished, thanks to some jerk of a totally non-commenting ludicrously-obfuscated-code-writer at the company we bought our robot arm from.
And by next weekend the cherries will no longer be in bloom. Somehow we miss the cherry season every year. *sad*

OK, what you need to do next year is schedule three weekends a couple weeks apart - start in Washington, then New York, then Boston. The farther north you go, the later the cherry trees bloom. Then, even if you miss two of them, you'll still probably get to at least one. :)
