Burn baby burn

Spent a lovely weekend visiting my folks, in glorious weather.

Unfortunately, probably because it's so early in the season, I neglected to put on sunscreen.

Ouch.

I'd been thinking about wearing a lovely strapless dress to tigermelp's wedding, but this plan may need to be revised. Currently, I have the outline of a v-necked sleeveless shirt dramatically burned into my upper chest. Sigh.

Aloe it up!

I recently got some of the aloe cream for sensitive skin from the Body Shop...it's pretty great. I haven't had the chance/reason to use it on sunburn yet, but I bet it would work pretty well.

Believe me, I am. It won't fix the bizarre tan line, though.

True.

Clearly, you can tell how functional my brain is going to be this week, haha. :)

Don't worry about it. I remember how I was the week leading up to our wedding. Get enough sleep, remember that most of the details that haven't fallen into place probably won't matter, and don't lock yourself out of the house (which I very nearly did, being rather scatterbrained).

There's a solution to that--put sunscreen on the V and burn the rest of your chest. :)

I can hear the whining already. Please, don't suggest such things.

OK, that idea had occurred to me, actually.

Get body paint and incorporate the V into a cool design that goes with the dress...
