Thoughts: Let's be clear--this is not a serious bartending guide. This is a gift book you give someone as a gag. (In fact, I think I may have given it to my brother about a decade ago.)
But it's a genuinely clever and amusing little gag book. And some of the drinks even sound pretty good. Plus, there's a nice dictionary at the front of all those esoteric alcohols that you see listed on pretentious bar menus and have been embarrassed to ask about.
