jethrien | I can haz sleevelets

I have successfully finished my skirt and sleevelets for ICon. Super-awesome burlesque bustle skirt with matching detached sleeves, in navy-and-cream stripes with plum lining. I'm damn proud of myself, too - no patterns, just some directions off the internet for the skirt. And I made up the sleeves entirely. And they look really nice. There's a little bit of weirdness around the hem of the lining of the skirt, but it's not too noticeable. And the sleeves are exactly what I wanted, and came out more neatly than I was even hoping for them to.

I'll post some pictures when the entire costume is together.
